The heat of the product. Mild to very hot
This pepper selection growing kit has everything you need to start growing four of our favorite pepper varieties on a windowsill or in a greenhouse. The kit includes 5 seeds of each variety; pepper varieties range from mild to very hot.

Depending on inventory, typical seed varieties may include Apache, Jalapeño, Habanero, Lazamataz, Serrano, Big Bomb, and Pepperoni, which may differ from the description on the side of the box.

Peppers are great plants to grow – they look great and can produce a large crop. This kit contains everything you need to grow your own peppers from seed in a snazzy gift box. The kit contains.

1 propagator with lid (holds 8 compost plugs)
8 coconut shell compost plugs (no peat)
4 plant labels
1 x marker
1 x full instructions on the box
4 varieties of chilli seeds (5 seeds of each variety: 20 seeds in total – sent in a silver foil bag with the variety of chilli printed on each seed)

Once your seeds have germinated and grown into healthy seedlings with 2 or 3 leaves, they can easily be potted up by placing the whole plug into a 1-litre pot containing some free-draining potting compost, such as John Innes’ recipe #2 or coconut coir compost. Pots and compost can be found on our website.
The propagator in the kit holds 8 Coir compost plugs (without peat); once the seedlings are potted, you can purchase more compost plugs and reuse the propagator.

All components of this kit can be purchased separately, except for the pencil and plant markers. Pepper seeds require a temperature of at least 20°C for germination and plant growth. To increase the germination rate and seedling growth in colder months, the propagator can be placed on a heat source such as a heater, heating pad, or thermostatic heating pad.
