1. Basin soil
Planting flowers in pots is different from planting in the ground, so we need to use the soil we provide for planting. Fertility can bring nutrients to the plants, and at the same time, the air permeability is good because potted plants need to be watered frequently and repeatedly to avoid water flow that will cause the potting soil to harden, affecting the growth of the root system, causing problems, or even wilting the plant.
2. Watering
Too much watering is the Achilles heel of many novices. They always feel that the plants will die from drought and always think about water, but the potting soil is wet all day long.
Think about it: do you often see reports that people drink too much water at one time and end up with water poisoning?
The same is true for plants. Although water is necessary, it does not mean that they must be in a humid environment all the time. The root system of plants also needs a dry and wet environment, which we call a dry-wet cycle.
So don’t water it at will, especially on the balcony with poor ventilation. You must wait for the 2cm below the surface of the pot soil to dry before watering.
3. Fertilization
Many people raise plants and don’t know how to fertilize them. For beginners, when you can’t tell what kind of fertilizer can be used and what can’t be used, when the nutrition package is used up, I will teach you the simplest trick: buy fermented chicken manure Or sheep manure; that’s enough. It has comprehensive nutrition and is not easy to burn seedlings, so it is the best choice for novices.
4. Lighting
Lighting seems simple, but it goes without saying that light often directly affects the life and death of plants.
Some indoor shade-tolerant plants cannot accept direct sunlight. Of course, some light-loving plants will also cause weak plants if they are not exposed to the sun for a long time. Therefore, the light should be adjusted according to the sensitivity of the plants to light. Just search for relevant information on the species of the plant.
5. Ventilation
Many people understand ventilation as the ventilation of the environment. Environmental ventilation is very important, but the internal ventilation of the plant itself is also very important.
Whether it is poor ventilation in the environment or poor ventilation inside the plant, it is easy to be damaged by diseases and insect pests, so you must pay attention to ventilation when cultivating potted plants. For balcony cultivation, windows should be opened frequently for ventilation, and for outdoor cultivation, do not let the plants be placed too densely and pay attention to pruning too dense branches. Keep well-ventilated.
6. Pest control
The prevention and control of diseases and insect pests are also very important for the maintenance of potted plants. The emphasis should be on the prevention of diseases and insect pests, and we cannot wait for the occurrence of any diseases and insect pests to think about treatment. Once any diseases or insect pests occur, the impact on the plants will be irreversible.
Potted plants grown outdoors should be regularly prevented with pesticides due to the occurrence of diseases and insect pests. In order to avoid the use of fewer pesticides, potted plants can be diluted with alcohol or vinegar 500 times on a regular basis to sterilize and prevent diseases.
In the season of high insect incidence, it can be diluted 200 times with wind oil essence and sprayed on plants, which can play the role of repelling and killing insects.
For novices who grow flowers, if they can master the above 6 points, it is basically not a problem to feed plants and grow them vigorously.

In fact, the Japanese red maple is not a maple tree, just like the Podocarpus is not a pine. The words attached to the name do not represent its attributes. The Japanese red maple has a high ornamental value, and the leaves are brighter than the general Acer palmatum. The Japanese Red Maple has many fans in the bonsai world.
Its leaves are beautiful. Bright yellow in early spring, golden yellow in spring (March–June), golden yellow or reddish in autumn (September–October), and bright red before falling leaves

Bonsai growing kits are a fantastic way for beginners to start cultivating and nurturing their bonsai trees. These kits typically include the essential tools, seeds or a young tree sapling, soil, pots, and instructions to get you started. Here’s what you might expect to find in a bonsai growing kit:
Bonsai Tree Seeds or Sapling: Some kits come with seeds of popular bonsai tree varieties like Japanese maple, juniper, pine, or cherry blossom. Others might include a small, pre-grown sapling.
Bonsai Pot: Usually, a small pot specifically designed for growing bonsai is included. These pots often have good drainage to prevent waterlogging.
Bonsai Soil: Specially formulated soil mixtures that provide adequate drainage and nutrients suitable for bonsai growth.
Basic Tools: Kits might contain some fundamental bonsai tools such as pruning scissors, wire for shaping, a rake, and perhaps a small shovel or trowel.
Instructions or Guidebook: Detailed instructions or a guidebook explaining the basics of bonsai care, including watering, pruning, wiring, and repotting.
Fertilizer: Some kits might include a small amount of bonsai-specific fertilizer to help nourish the tree.
When choosing a bonsai growing kit, consider the type of tree you’d like to grow, your level of experience, and the quality of the included tools and materials. Kits can vary widely in terms of price and quality. Some kits might cater specifically to indoor bonsai, while others focus on outdoor varieties.
Keep in mind that growing a bonsai tree is a patient and long-term endeavor. It requires regular care, patience, and attention to detail. It might take several years to achieve the desired look and style for your bonsai.
Additionally, if you’re interested in a more hands-on approach, you could also assemble your own kit by purchasing individual components separately, selecting specific tools, and choosing the type of bonsai tree you’d like to grow.
Remember to research the specific care requirements of the tree species in your kit to ensure its proper growth and health.
