Parsley Care Essentials

01 Parsley likes soil rich in organic matter, and the pH value is preferably between 6.0-7.0.
02 Parsley seeds germinate very slowly. Before planting, pre-chill the seeds in the refrigerator and soak them overnight in warm water to stratify the seeds, speed up planting, and allow for better germination.
03 Parsley does not need to be watered too often, as long as the soil is kept moist.

Thyme Care Essentials

01. Thyme likes light, likes warmth, and has high heat resistance, but it cannot be directly exposed to the sun. The sunlight is relatively strong in summer, so it can be placed indoors with sunlight to avoid direct sunlight. Can tolerate some shade, but not full shade.
02. Do not dry or water, water must be thoroughly watered.
03. Remember to prune the terminal buds and prune the whole thyme to half the height of the plant every winter.

How to care for potted basil

  1. Do not accumulate water: During the watering process, be careful not to allow water to accumulate in the soil. If you water too much, pour out the water in time. When keeping the basil outdoors, it is best to move it Indoors, wind, water, and rain can easily cause the leaves of basil to turn yellow and wilt, and it is easy to accumulate water and cause the roots to rot. Therefore, in the cultivation methods and precautions of basil, it is very important not to accumulate water.
  2. Not closed: The environment for planting basil must not be too closed, especially not too hot. Although it likes a dry environment, if it is in a high temperature and unventilated environment, it may be infected with diseases and insect pests, and finally, there will be disease spots on the leaves, usually pay attention to keep the environment sufficiently ventilated to make the basil leaves bright and shiny.
  3. Avoid low light: the efficacy and function of basil are mainly reflected in its leaves, but if the basil is in a low light environment, the leaves will not accumulate enough nutrients due to lack of photosynthesis, and in slight cases, it will cause the leaves to lose green and wilt. In severe cases, the whole plant will die, so it must not be placed in a low-light environment, at least to ensure that there is scattered light to grow normally.
  4. Apply thin fertilizer: Basil does not have a high demand for fertilizer. As long as the soil is relatively fertile and the soil is replaced every 1-2 years, it can grow normally, but if you want it to have strong disease resistance and grow faster, Some organic fertilizer can be applied every month, but it must be paid attention to that the fertilizer should be thin and low in concentration, and do not apply raw or concentrated fertilizer.
